Fall 2010!

The bad thing about Fashion Week is I get excited for fall clothes in February. I know I can incorporate some looks into my winter wardrobe, but still...I can't wait for fall and we still have spring and summer to get through! Not a good way to think when you're trying to "live in the present". From what I've seen so far of FW, here are some of my favorite looks this year:

Happy Groundhog Day!

Awww...the groundhog saw his shadow today so it's another six weeks of winter! On a positive note, it's another six weeks to wear cozy sweaters and cuddle by the fireplace. :)

Grammy Favorite

How is everyone? I was moving this weekend and was not online, but I'm back with my pick for best dressed at the Grammy Awards.

My pick: Fergie.

Fergie's fun, mega-glam look is perfect for a music industry awards show. I really love every detail from the hair to the accessories. Gorgeous!



Runner-up: Taylor Swift

Although I tend to prefer less formal ensembles for the Grammy Awards, I also really like Taylor Swift's look...classic!

And It All Begins...

This year began with so much promise and possibility. There just seems so much to be excited about... big events like moving into a new place (I move in 2 weeks!) to the little things like seeing The Lovely Bones, A Single Man, the new season of 24, and new shows like Parenthood, Life Unexpected, and Human Target. We get to find out which gal Jake picks. My goodreads "to read" list is almost 80! And let's not forget the Winter Olympics and Red Carpet/Award show season!

Speaking of the latter, did anyone catch the Golden Globes last night? Almost all my picks won awards. As for the fashion side, these were my favorites:

Normally I gravitate toward color, but last night these black numbers were my stand-outs!

I'm back!

Wow....I've never been away from my blog for so long! :) I planned on doing a few posts while back in New England, but obviously it didn't work out that way. I'll be doing a holiday wrap up, but first another Kate Hudson red carpet moment (2003 Academy Awards)! InStyle is doing a best dresses of the decade feature on their website. This Versace stunner would be a beautiful wedding gown as well!

Penelope Cruz looks beautiful in this Ralph Lauren Collection gown. I love the elegant, ethereal feel. She looks like she floated down the red carpet. This movie will be another treat for the holidays!

December 1st!

I love December 1st.

Mostly because it's me and G.'s anniversary. :)

Also, because the countdown to go see my family in Boston for Christmas begins!

Plus, it's just a cool date I think.

LC's Purse

So I was walking to my car today when I spotted this adorable girl wearing a really cute bag. As I walked by trying to get a good look at the purse, I realized the girl was Lauren Conrad of The Hills. I found a pic of her wearing it another time (below). I don't think the picture does it justice. It looked like a vintage gold mesh purse from a distance. Anyone know what bag it is?

This Ad...ahhhh

This is one of my all-time favorite ads. It has been out for awhile, but I'll never tire of it. Light Blue has been one of my favorite perfumes for a long time and I was so happy when it had an ad campaign as beautiful as the scent. I really wish I could just jump into that picture! I need to go back to Italy soon....
