Happy Friday! G. is making my favorite veggie pizza tonight. I wish we could eat and have our wine here:

Sophia Bush

One of my favorites! My friend, J. and I were loving One Tree Hill last season. S.B. is fantastic on this show...and she's so stunning!

P.S. I love red! ;)

Favorite Boston Bars

During my trip to Beantown, I was able to hang out at my favorite summer bar, Tia's. Tia's is right on the waterfront by the North End. There is always a ton of good-looking young professionals enjoying the weather after a winter snowed in. It's the perfect place to sip a Blue Moon or Corona and really take in the scenery. The appetizers are good, although I would not go for dinner (it's too crowded and loud to have a relaxing meal). Generally, it has a really invigorating vibe.
Warning: lines can be long if you go late.

Runners-up:

The Bell-in-Hand Tavern ("America's oldest, continuously, operating tavern" and my sisters' fav)
The Black Rose (fantastic Irish bar)
Whiskey Park (swanky, fun atmosphere, great cocktails)
Eastern Standard (also a great lounge for drinks)
Game On (best place to go to get in the mood before or after a Sox game-also a fun place to watch the game if you don't have said tix ;) )

A Little History

One of the places I went to while in Massachusetts was The Lafayette House. If you are a history buff or if you enjoy visiting landmarks, I highly recommend you check out this restaurant. Located in Foxboro, MA (home of the New England Patriots) it has been around since 1784. They say early patrons include George Washington! This is not a burger joint so I'd make this trip one of your "nice dinners" of your trip (or your weekend if you live nearby).

I forgot my camera :( I'll have to post some pics when I go back. I don't think any of the pictures I have seen of it do it justice so I don't want to post them.

LC's Purse

So I was walking to my car today when I spotted this adorable girl wearing a really cute bag. As I walked by trying to get a good look at the purse, I realized the girl was Lauren Conrad of The Hills. I found a pic of her wearing it another time (below). I don't think the picture does it justice. It looked like a vintage gold mesh purse from a distance. Anyone know what bag it is?

Jet Lagged

I have lots to write about my trip to Boston. But I'm still exhausted from the crazy weekend and getting back to work. So tonight I ordered an artichoke pizza, slapped on a Biore strip, and cuddled up to finally watch the LOST season finale (OMG!).

I'm going to bed early to read Something Borrowed by Emily Giffin. I got really into it on the plane and I can't put it down!

One Fabulous Friday

I had a terrific day off from work and wanted to share two great finds with you.

I spent the morning at Burke Williams in West Hollywood. After relaxing in the hot tub, I had a spa treatment called Emilee's Intrigue (find #1). If you have the money, I totally recommend it (I had a gift card). I felt amazing during and after-it was the first time I had no neck pain in months. Hopefully I can remain tension-free for at least a few more days!

Later, G. and I went to Melrose for some shopping. I mostly scoped out the boutiques, but there are a ton of vintage shores there if you're interested. One of the salesgirls tried to talk G. into buying me shoes while I was in the dressing room. She is my new BFF.

We then grabbed an early dinner at Prizzi's Piazza on Franklin (find #2). G. tried their deep dish pizza and I got a thin crust. We both ordered smalls and they were enormous! The food was good and the outdoor seating area is great for people watching.

I hope that you all had a great day, too! XOXO

CHANEL No. 5 Day

Chanel? Audrey Tautou? Tell me more!

Today is Chanel No. 5 Day in NYC! How cool is that?!

Coco Chanel is such an inspiration and I love that there is a day to celebrate the house she created. No. 5 Day also celebrates the premiere of Chanel's short film, Train de Nuit, which stars No. 5 itself and Audrey Tautou (and you all know I'm a big fan!) Check out the film here.

In recognition of No. 5 Day, one of my favorite bloggers, Jessica, wore this Chanel-inspired outfit. I think it's perfect and she looks adorable.

Check out her full blog post at What I Wore.

So make sure you wear your tweed and pearls when going out for margaritas tonight. ;)

Happy No. 5 Day and Cinco de Mayo!

Cook Yourself Thin

I can't wait to see this new show on Lifetime. Cook Yourself Thin debuts tomorrow at 5pm ET/PT so I'm going to have to record it. The show is supposed to show you how to cook using ingredients with fewer calories. It looks fun and informative. Check it out if this interests you. I'll let you know what I think!

This Ad...ahhhh

This is one of my all-time favorite ads. It has been out for awhile, but I'll never tire of it. Light Blue has been one of my favorite perfumes for a long time and I was so happy when it had an ad campaign as beautiful as the scent. I really wish I could just jump into that picture! I need to go back to Italy soon....

Do you have any ad campaigns or fashion editorials that inspire you?
