Tiffany for my Favorite Bloggers

I recently received the latest Tiffany & Co. "selections" booklet in the mail. I found myself thinking that many of the necklaces would be perfect for the girls who write my favorite blogs. So if I had the money, this is what I would get for each blogger:

Jessica from What I Wore:

She already has a signature anchor necklace in gold. As a fellow DG I know you can never have too many anchors so I would get in this in silver. :)

Chanel Fashionista:There were definitely other choices that would look cuter with her adorable wardrobe; but, I had to pick this as we both live in LA and must brave the traffic to shop!

Brianne from BrianneLee:My bff. This necklace is so cute and delicate just like her. It also would look lovely with all of her vintage finds.

Emily from cupcakes and cashmere:
Well it's pretty obvious why I would choose this necklace for her. :)

Best of Chicago

I thought Chicago was fabulous. Below are some of my favorite things I discovered in the city.
The Architecture River Cruise. We took this tour at night and it was gorgeous! It departs from Navy Pier and the boat takes you down (or up) the Chicago River and you're surrounded by the lit up skyscrapers. The information we received by the tour guide was very interesting, as well.

The Signature Room at The John Hancock Center. You can get the lunch buffet for $18 a person and the views are amazing. If you don't feel like standing in line at the Sears (or newly dubbed Willis) Tower, definitely come here!
Volare. Great Italian restaurant. Intimate, cozy, and good food. You can check out their website if you're interested. I had the risotto, which was delicious. We went with a large party and everyone loved his or her dish.

Wrigley Field. Such a fun stadium to watch a baseball game. The fans are so enthusiastic and the stadium itself is very charming. I also liked the nearby Goose Island brewery where I had some blueberry ale. Mmmm....
Giordano's. I recommend their deep-dish pizza. You can't go to Chicago without trying some deep-dish! (No pic-sorry!)

The Cloud Gate (or the Bean). It's just too cool not to see. Check it out at Millennium Park.
I am already looking forward to my next trip back-although I'll probably go somewhere new first!

My kind of town...

Hello!

I just got back from Chicago (my first time) and it was awesome!!!! I can't wait to tell you about it. I caught a nasty cold on the flight home so I'm going to bed early tonight. I'll post pics and stories soon. XOXO

Thursday was my birthday! And guess what I got from G.! Here's a hint. I'll post a pic tomorrow. We went to our favorite Italian restaurant and I got to break out what I call my "Barbie dress."

I started freaking out on my birthday when I turned 24. Since, someone has sent me a card that said "forget the years and think of all the people who have brighter lives because of you." So I try to look at it that way. I am very lucky to have the friends and family that I do (plus they all got me awesome gifts!). ;)

Trust me on the sunscreen.

Remember the sunscreen song out in the late '90s? I love the lyrics in that song-I really think it's all great advice. I REALLY wish I adhered to the first line this past weekend: wear sunscreen. My feet are burned to a crisp! :( I am definitely going to get some aloe vera today and pick out the least painful shoes for work possible.
