The Bag I Stalked

Happy Sunday!

I recently tweeted about stalking a handbag. I was walking to work and the sun shone on this gorgeous bag! I was so captivated that I started following it in a trance (like a psycho!). I almost walked right by my building. Well, here she is:

Sweating with Richard Simmons

Last night I had SO much fun. Today, I am SO sore. Guess what I did!

I took an aerobics class with Richard Simmons at his studio in Beverly Hills!

The Slimmons website sums it all up best here.

I did not take any pictures this time, but I will post some in the future. I left feeling energized and highly motivated. I go to the gym regularly and this was one of the best workouts I've ever had (physically and mentally). And it helps that the music was great, too.

I highly recommend it. If you go, be sure to bring a large towel, plenty of water, and a smile!

Magnolia Bakery

On Date Night, G. and I decided to check out the new LA location of Magnolia Bakery after dinner at Luna Park and before seeing Inception at The Grove. Magnolia Bakery is a famous NYC bakery most noted for its cupcakes and its cameo on Sex and the City. The LA location opened its doors on Saturday, 7/17 on 3rd Street. It's right across the street from Joan's on Third and near the Beverly Center.

Although not pictured, I preferred the chocolate frosting! Cupcakes average at about $3 a piece. Anyone have any other cupcake recommendations?

How to be a Chic Bookworm & Another BFF!

Okay my fellow book-lovers!!!!

I've been meaning to share this for awhile...and if you haven't seen it yet, brace yourself because you will LOVE the latest from Kate Spade!

Drumroll please..............

The Book of the Month Clutch!

Yes, this is actually a purse.
K.S. has a few others, such as, Great Expectations and The Importance of Being Earnest; but, The Great Gatsby is my favorite.

This brings me to this week's BFF, or Budget-Friendly Fun. The library. I know...you're thinking: "fun?!" People tend to forget about the library as a resource for the latest magazines, movies, and CDs in addition to books. Think of all you would save on entertainment with your FREE library card. Even if you're late, the fines are a fraction of what you'd spend buying media-related items. You can also usually browse your local library system's catalog online. Save money on your summer reading so you can spend your cash on more important things--like The Book of the Month Clutch! :)

The Book of the Month Clutch ($325) available here.

Update: Sugar

Ladies (and gentlemen)!

For those of you who also loved the Tiffany rings I posted about here, Bluefly is having a sale on them.

I will not be buying one as I think I might have to get a new car. :( Let's just say having your car die on a freeway off-ramp is NOT good times.
